How To Take An LBD From Day To Night!

Happy Saturday you guys!

So, I have been planning a post styling a dress for day and night forever, but I just was not able to find the perfect dress that would actually work seamlessly for running errands during the day as well as going out for drinks in the evening. Well, guess what, I finally found it! :)

I recently made an H&M order and that store CAME THRU with their summer clothes (more posts styling my new in pieces will follow!) and one item that stood out was this super cute black summer dress. It is very comfortable, stretchy, but does not cling to your body in an unflattering way at all. I think it makes a great silhouette! PLUS it is only $12.99 !!

Now, let me show you how I will style this dress to take it from day to night with minimal effort ;)

First of all, I looove styling summery dresses with an oversized denim jacket! The right shade of denim goes with virtually any color, print or pattern your are wearing and makes a dress more of an "outfit" to me. I just got this oversized denim jacket by Noisy May via Asos and it truly is the perfect shade, has not distressing and the most amazing oversized fit (wearing my true size here).

Again, this dress will pair perfectly with virtually any style of shoe, but for a casual weekend look, I always opt for sneakers. Here I am wearing my trusty white Converse, which are a true classic! I also tried on this new little backpack I got from Topshop and thought it went really well! Very much love how roomy this backpack is despite of it's compact size!

Drumroll please for the night look, lol!

Snakeprint Heels (similar here and here)

My recipe for a good, no-fuss evening look? A killer pair of heels and a bold lip! You have heard me rave about these snakeskin print pointy heels from Zara one to many times haha, and sadly, they are now not available anymore, but here and here are similar options!

I just now noticed that you unfortunately can't really tell from these photos that I took above, but the dress actually has thin straps with a bow detail. While I think these are really cute on the dress, I didn't really like them for my evening look, so I just tucked them in and transformed my LBD into this little strapless number! :)

Black Clutch (Similar here and here)

I have had this simple black clutch for years and years now and it has been to every evening occasion possible with me, haha! However, there are so many dupes for this one, like here and here, and chances are, you already own a plain black clutch or crossbody bag anyway. :)

I put my hair up in a sleek high pony with some volume on the top - and voilá! Your ready to stun everybody in a matter of minutes! You could even throw on a pair of statement earrings if you want to add even more oomph to your look.

I hope you liked this blogpost - I certainly had sooo much fun putting it together! Styling clothing items more than one way is definitely something I try to emphasize on my blog, and I think you can gather some inspiration from that :) Leave me your feedback in the comments down below!

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading!
