3 Ways To Style A Turtleneck Sweater!

I recently got this Collusion ribbed knit turtleneck sweater via Asos and it was definitely one of those "oh, cute, I'll just through it in my basket" type of purchase... Little did I know, it would be one of my favorite things from my latest Asos haul, haha!

The fabric is super comfy yet warm, it's good quality, but not too thick, so absolutely perfect for layering, the neck is not too restriciting (ugh, I hate that about turtlenecks sometimes!), it is form fitting yet not too clingy on your body and the color is just that perfect nude beige shade - long story short, this gem is truly one of those staples you absolutely need in your wardrobe! Also, it is very affordable at only $16, so... trust me, just run and pick it up!

And to show you (and me, haha!) how versatile this item truly is, I wanted to create a blogpost about 3 ways I would style a neutral turtleneck sweater. I hope you enjoy!

1. With Faux Leather pants and Ankle Booties

If I had a fall uniform, this would totally be it, haha! I just love wearing faux leather pants, they are so my style! Paired with the turtleneck sweater and my trusty black ankle booties that I can walk for miles in, it just makes the most amazing everyday outfit that you can easily take into the evening as well. Of course I had to add my Saint Laurent baby for a pop of color ;)

2. With a High-Waist Skirt and Knee-High Boots

I love love love pairing a sweater and a mini skirt for fall and winter!! This high-waisted corduroy one is pretty old from H&M, but I will be linking a similar one below. I like how the beige pairs with the camel, however, since this sweater is so neutral, you can virtually pair it with any color - how amazing would it look with a dark burgundy, a red or a cream colored skirt! I used to never wear knee-high boots with skirts, but ever since they started to become a huge trend, that look has truly grown on me! Also means I don't really have to wear tights, haha!

3. Straight-Leg Jeans and Flats

This sweater will pair great with any kind of jeans cut, however, I really like how the slightly baggy, straight-leg style here balances out the fit of the sweater. Again, beige looks so cool with medium wash denim, you could also totally go for white denim or even black! I decided on an understated black crossbody back and camel colored pointy flats to pick up the shade of the turtleneck sweater again.
